How screening tickets work
A Screening Ticket gives access to one screening session. This may be one feature film, one documentary, one curated short film block, one AI motion shorts block or another selected screening session. It does not mean one single 10-minute short film.
How Black Flag Grant and pitching work
Black Flag Grant runs before the festival. Selected projects may receive support in advance so that new work can be developed, shaped or prepared in time for the festival cycle.
Festival pitch sessions are separate from the grant timeline. Some pitch opportunities may take place during the festival for future projects, industry conversations or upcoming editions.
Pitch participation is curated. Applying for a grant or holding an Industry Pass does not automatically guarantee a pitch slot.
Selected finalists, grantees or invited pitchers may receive special accreditation depending on programme structure.

Is a Screening Ticket for one short film?+
No. A Screening Ticket is for one screening session. That may be one feature, one documentary, one curated short film block or another programmed screening session.
Is the Gala included in the Festival Pass?+
No. Gala + Afterparty is a separate ticket unless explicitly included in a premium pass.
What is the difference between Community Pass and Festival Pass?+
Community Pass is a limited-access, reduced-price option for Deaf community members, students, young audiences and limited-access groups. Festival Pass is the standard full public pass across four days.
Do I need an Industry Pass to attend pitch sessions?+
If a pitch session is open to the public, public pass holders may attend as audience. If a session is industry-facing, Industry Pass may be required.
Does an Industry Pass guarantee a pitch slot?+
No. Pitch participation is curated and requires separate submission or invitation.
How does Black Flag Grant work?+
Black Flag Grant takes place before the festival. Selected projects may receive support ahead of the festival cycle to help generate new work.
